about

*Remastered from a new source tape by Joe Lambert in 2021 and re-posted as one long session.

Master tapes were recently unearthed of New York saxophonist Alan Braufman and pianist Cooper-Moore performing live as a duo on Columbia University's radio station, WKCR on May 22, 1972. The session occurred two years before Braufman, Cooper-Moore and a full band recorded Braufman's legendary debut album on India Navigation, "Valley of Search."
